    Hi,

I just shot about 85GB worth of footage onto my firestore fs-100. I’m trying to import all of the footage (about 125 clips) into Final Cut Studio 2 through the Log and Transfer window. I’ve dragged all of the footage into the queue and a large percentage of the footage isn’t getting brought into the project. I’m getting a “!” in a red circle in the status column and when I click on it, it says unknown error.

Is this footage lost? Is there something I can do to recover it?

    Somebody help me please… i can’t afford a reshoot!

    Thanks

    Michael Slavens

First thing to try is to open the preference and check or uncheck the “remove advanced pulldown and duplicate frames” basically the opposite of what you have now.

Also List the setting on the cameras record menu and the firestore.

Always rememeber the quickest way to tell if your clips are ok ar not,
is to play them back through the camera, and watch them on the LCD.
If they look ok there, and are playable then you are safe!
