I need to replace my hvx 200 battery. I believe the MFR# is CGAD54SE/1B. Do I need to spend $160 (b&h) for an original? I see many “replacement” batteries for a fraction of this cost. Is there really a significant difference? If anyone has had a good experience with the lower priced batteries or if I can get an oem for less, could you please let me know where to buy.

    Thank You,
    JM

No difference- just make sure it’s compatible voltage and connector wise. Save the dough…

I got some from DVXusers that have held up for a couple of years and still going strong.
