May 25, 2006 at 7:12 pmThat looks really tasty- you should try encoding it via H264.

May 26, 2006 at 6:05 amFootage looked really nice. I am thinking about getting the M2 as well and was nice to see some footage from this set up that wasn’t from the Red Rock website. Just for fun I took Noah’s advice about the h.264 codec. dropped it into after effects croped the image to get rid of the excess black and rendered it. Looks almost the same and it is 40 megs instead of the 160 meg file size.
Anyways the footage looks nice. Did you use Magic Bullet Look Suites on the images at all?
nice work,

May 26, 2006 at 9:50 pm95% of the teaser is straight from camera
I only color corrected four shots, the one sun set shot and the Bottle in foreground. and the Jail shot and last 3 interior shots I brought up the Setup 15.

May 30, 2006 at 6:40 amI just wanted to say that i was very impressed with your footage. It is the best I have seen to date with this camera and I am definitely encouraged. I am writing a short to shoot later this week and now my DP and I have no excuses…you have definitely proven the cinematic potential of this camera. Might I pick your brain as to scene file settings you used and post production filters and color correction you used?
Thank you!

I try to get the Look 90% in Camera, Most of the low budget stuff I work on may not have alot of time to color Corect… if any. I get very confortable with every camera I work with because I manipulate the Sceen files almost Sceen to Sceen…which is hard to keep Contiunity over an entire feature but I keep notes in my head and try to be very dillagent about how each story at that paticular sceen is soposed to look like.
