HVR-M25 VTR?
Hi guys
I have a Sony HVR-M25J VTR and Im trying to input\output to FCP 5.0.4 in HDV (1080i) format but FCP says that there is no data from VTR. Same promlem when I’m trying to output from FCP timeline to m Sony, there is no signal. This is only when I’m trying to work in HDV. Everything is going well in DVCAM\DV SD format. Any idea where might be the problem in HDV?thank you in advance

Check your Menu setting and in the format section switch it from auto to HDV. If you have Played a DVcam tape in the deck then the auto format selection doesn’t work. Also make sure you if you have a decklink or AJA card turn off the desktop extension. hope that helps.
