HV30 with Sony Vegas Pro 7

My capture defaults to DV. Need to figure out how to set for HDV capture.

Try Options | Preferences | Video tab and uncheck “Use external video capture application“. That should force the HDV capture utility to come up when you use File | Capture Video….
