Hundreds of images – How to automate 8 per page?
I have hundreds of images that I need to organize: 8 images line up 4×2 on an 8.5×11 page. I know how to create an action that will resize all of my images so that they would fit in a 8.5×11 page, but I don’t know a more efficient way of placing these images, 8 at a time, on to separate pages. Any suggestions? I’m doing some hand drawn animation/illustration and I need the images (exported image sequence from final cut) as a reference for tracing and would like to maximize my paper usage and scanning time. I am using Photoshop CS2. My images are tif files and are sequentially numbered.

Maybe ‘File/Automate/Contact Sheet’ might set you in a good direction.
