I have some high-resolution satellite pics that i need to animate, but when i try to load them in zaxworks, the app. quits “unexpectedly”.

Any solutions? These are huge pics, 9000×8000 pixels…over 100 mb in size. Am I just asking too much?

    Hi Micah.

A 8000×9000 image seems to be too large for our software (on the Mac, at least).

We create an internal version of the image that requires additional memory, and the
memory allocation functions are failing at that size.

Depending on how much memory you have, you’ll likely get a smaller version of the texture to work.
I was able to get a 7000×6222 texture to work.

Note that a texture that size is likely too large for OpenGL, so it may not show up in the preview.

Let us know if you have more questions.
