    Another thing that’s happening is a huge delay in response when simply trimming a clip. The in/out split view comes up in the program monitor when trimming, but at this point it stops responding for 8-10 seconds at least, then goes back to the regular program monitor and I can continue. Anyone else seeing this issue or have ideas how to fix it?

    There have been some folks running into this issue. The workaround is to disable Composite Preview During Trim. Go to the Timeline panel and click on the wrench icon (Time Display Settings) and uncheck Composite Preview During Trim.
