  HPX500 Packages available for how long?

  Howdy,

  Does anyone have a sense of how long the HPX500 promotion is going on?

  I’m collecting quotes on a full FCS system plus camera package, but I’m worried that with the time it takes to secure the financing I may miss out on the HPX500+lens+P2 package deal… and if we can’t get the camera with the current pricing, I’ll likely not be getting any camera at all for a few years.

  Our preferred financing will take 30-45 days, but I could spend another $2,000 in fees and go another route that would only take 21 days, but that $2,000 could be a light kit, or Adobe CS3, or an Exabyte tape backup drive… all of which I need so it’s not an easy call.

  An east-coast dealer told me they’d have that pricing through at least the July 15th, but my west-coast dealer (who I’m buying the edit system from) says he won’t even have the cameras for another 4-6 weeks.
