    Hey HPX500 owners.users,

I have two HPX500’s that we are using for a bunch of 8 hour Prof Dev. documentation.

The camera guys need a bigger monitor to focus and follow with. After 4 hours the nice little camera flip out monitor is still to little for tired eyes.

Anybody have any suggestions for large camera mounted filed monitors. Yep I would love the $3K versions and my client would love a better two camera rate. I really need to keep the price down and that is why I am asking for your thoughts.

Focus and follow, and camera mountable… any thoughts

I use the Marshall V-LCD70XP-3GSDI monitor. It is very sharp, with focus assist and false color and peaking filter.

I’ve used the iKan and Manhattan LCD and the Marshall is the best for the money. Flanders Scientific is my second recommendation.

Interesting point however. I recently started using ikan and i got their D7w for a bit under 1200 at B&H https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/896295-REG/ikan_D7W_5_6_3G_SDI_HD.html

The picture is great. besides i now have peaking, waveform, and false color. which is great for what i do since i use it on a 1D MKIV and i can’t do the magic lantern hack.
