HPX370 USB host mode?
Using the HPX370. Toward the end of the manual, there are various things you can do with an external drive, like format the drive to “type S”.
Here’s a typical set of instructions.
1. Switch to USB Host mode.
2. Connect HDD.
3. Press THUMBNAIL button to open thumbnail screen.
4. Press THUMBNAIL button and select HDD – Explore in the thumbnail menu.
5. Select OPERATION – FORMAT.My problem is step 4. The second press of the thumbnail button only toggles off the thumb screen. Is there something I’m missing here, to continue on to the menu? Thanks.

It does say “Some Hard disc may not operate normally”
