  HPX3000G P2 Media Card corrupted clips !

  Hi,

  Anyone ever have their P2 camera yield corrupt clips (not power related) ? First time for me and camera could not repair the clips.

  I could edit some of the corrupt clips but with noticeable drop outs, few clips wouldn’t even drag to timeline as timeout errors.

  Anyway, just a heads up, if your still using older P2 cameras, like my HPX3000G, have a back up plan; I ordered a BM 5″ LCD recorder.

  For the clips that I could edit, sobeit with dropouts, MC7 would export fine, but SorSq refused to render the MC QTref drop out clips. A workaround, was to export from MC7 as Fast Export QT NTSC from a video and audio mixed down clip.

  That allowed SorSq to render even though the clips contained dropouts.

  It’s been a nightmare ! Panasonic told me new HPX3000 Control Board was 3k$ !
