    Hello,

Does anyone have links to good documentation on a workflow for the HPX3000 in 24P?

I am running in to a problem in our workflow. I don’t quite understand it yet, so it’s difficult to provide more info. The footage seems to be playing back fine in Final Cut, but it is misrepresented in the data fields. The footage was shot as 24P and the computer is marking it as 30p.

    Here’s our recording settings:
    SYSTEM MODE 1080: 59.94i
    REC MODE: DVCPRO HD
    REC SIGNAL: CAM
    CAMERA MODE: 24P

I know this is vague, at this point I am just trying to learn more about the camera and I’m having trouble finding details on this camera working in FCP.

You cannot shoot 24psf in DVCPro HD. You must shoot AVC-I for 24psf.

In DVCPro HD you will shoot 24p with pulldown which is 29.97. You can shoot 24pA for easy pulldown removal in FCP.
