HPX2000 and 2.22 color space
We have a varicam setup with 2.22 color space (chroma du monde chart hits the boxes on a vectorscope set at 2.22 magnification). I love it, but find that sometimes the chroma is cartoonish when I have to downconvert the footage. I’d like to know what other folks are doing with the matrix and how you’ve arrived at your color decicions. I’m looking for more for concepts and philosophy than how-tos here.
