It obviously shoots SD, and I’m sure it shoots anamorphic SD.

I have an HPX-300 but always shoot HD.
I just checked the menus and was able to switch to 480 mode, and “letterbox” aspect ratio.
That’s odd terminology for what should be termed 16:9, anamorphic, or wide screen. But it looks correct in my viewfinder – no black bars. I have not tried recording and ingesting yet.

i would think you want squeeze not letterbox for anamorphic.
