HPE L&TT software on Mac OS
Hi folks,
I’m trying to run the HPE L&TT v 6.2 diagnostic software on a Mac running Big Sur 11.7.1 but I’m failing miserably.
This has to be run using Terminal, a tool I have no experience of.
It says to change my working directory to /usr/local/HPE/LTT but I cannot see how I do this?
It also says alternatively, running the command hpe_ltt will initialise L&TT from any working directory. However, when I input this command, I get the following error:
zsh: bad cpu type in executable: hpe_ltt
I’m sure I’m just doing something stupid here and the solution is simple but I’m struggling so hopefully someone can assist?
For info, I’m trying to run the diagnostic tool on a HPE LTO 7 Ultrium 15000 drive that has gone faulty and is showing flashing amber lights next to the Drive and Tape markers.
Many thanks.
Best wishes,
Scott
