Im just curious as to how they created this commercial specifically when Pharrel catched the paper and while he was holding the paper, animations are continously playing within the paper. It appeared as if he was literally holding the paper…How did they do this? Did they masked the portion where he was holding the paper and then motion tracked it? Any ideas?

It’s pretty clear that he didn’t actually catch a piece of paper or ever have anything in his hands. I think it’s someone with a lot of coffee and some tracking/masking skills.
