  How? M2T w/ AC3 in Compressor

  Hi,

  First time posting, so please let me know if you need more details.

  I’m having difficulty creating the correct settings to export my FCP video via Compressor 3.5.3 to an MPEG2 (m2t) video with AC3 audio in one clip.

  I’m doing a broadcast delivery, and they are asking for:

  MPEG2 Transport Stream
  Bit Rate: 15 CBR
  AC3 audio
  48khz

  I can’t find a place to change audio settings in Compressor, so I’ve opened the droplet in Textedit (thanks to a creative cow post for the idea!). Even when I change the “audio encode name MP2” to “AC3” Compressor still outputs the audio stream as MP2. I’m using MPEG Streamclip to check the stream. I also tried using ffmpegx to convert the M2T w/ MP2 clip, but I don’t see where I can designate CBR and the bit rate seems to be all over the place (showing 100+mbps as the video stream bit rate, but then the file bit rate shows only 3 mbps).

  Any suggestions on how I can get the droplet to conform to what I need?

  PS I was going to post the actual audio droplet code but it uses < to start and close everything and these posts remove the code. If you can tell me what I need to put in front of the <, that would be helpful!
