how would you: gradient color mix
Hello, first post. Long time reader. Accidentally posted this is in the “basic” forum, moved it here.

The animation of the logo is simple enough, but the way that the colors mix is very interesting. Does anyone have any idea how this was achieved? It’s no simple gradient or multiply or overlay effect, as far as I can tell.
It almost seems like they mapped the color “strength” to the proximity of the small black square using expressions, but I couldn’t reproduce it.
Any help is much appreciated

That’s very interesting. It looks like the color strength is related to how close to an edge the point is. In any case, there wouldn’t be any way to do this with an expression because expressions can’t control the color of individual pixels. I suspect it could be done with Pixel Bender though.
