How would you – Chasing Lights Flow Chart
Hey everyone. I need to animate this flowchart so it has a chasing lights feel.
I’ll attach the slide I’ll be working with. And here’s a link I was given for the look they want.

I would do it with a layer with a glow effect that I obscure with some masks. Maybe some chasing shapes on a vector for the mask? I can do it, but y’all are always so clever, I wanted to see if there was something new and cool I could learn from you.

Hey Corbin,
Setting aside how to do the effect, from a Corporate communications point of view, the slide that you have to convey to the audience is already in a total mess – not even sure that if you showed it to the client, that they themselves would be able to follow it?
Sorry, that sounded harsh.
But there is only soo much that you can have on one screen, and only soo many arrows that can point in different directions.
To start with, I would suggest that you break the various parts of the screen-shot down to smaller “localised” sequences/animations, before connecting all of the dots/lines in the last video.
All done in a meaningful way, obviously.By breaking it down, the various components of the TeamsIamge graphic becomes bigger, and easier to animate/apply effects on to. Without having 45 different “path” lines in 4 different colours and outline, competing for “Glow” and “Pulsating” on what could be a small screen.
Just a suggestion on how to approach the bigger issue with the job.
