  How would you approach this roto?

  I researched the roto brush method and the hair is impossible.

  I found another method using Calculations and levels to create a black and white matte by isolating color channels. In this one, I can’t get the hair to divide from the background. One side (no shadow) is white and the other (shadow) leans to black.

  How would you go about this roto if given this footage?
