Silly beginner mistake, we have someone in the scene taking a shot of liquor but we redid this part so many times we forgot to include some liquid in the shot glass. Coincidentally the best take had the glass empty. I dont need super realistic liquor in the glass but I’m wondering how I can add some fake looking liquid (even if its just a photoshopped liquid png) and have it track up as the shot glass rotates upwards a tiny bit and then disappear like its being drinked.

    Any quick and easy ideas?

Any chance you can composite in some real footage with the liquid from one of the good takes? That will require some stabilization, tracking, and roto, but probably has the best shot at looking somewhat natural.
