How well does the imac G5 handle FCP 4.5 and 5.0 ? Are there any issues that a potential buyer might need to know?

It’s slower but usable – get an external FW drive don’t use the internal. Having said that I’m currently editing a friends wedding video in HDV from the system drive in my G5 iMac and it works – just very slowly! I’m even getting some RT effects.
Consider a used G5 Powermac instead, much faster and room for expansion.
