    Hi Guys and Girls!

I’ve been breaking my head on how this one shot was made which I spotted in the ‘suspend light’ designreel at https://www.suspendedinlight.com (hit the ‘designreel’ link). Right at the end of the reel there’s a skateboarder hovering over the ground without his skateboard actually being there. He rides a few meters and then takes a rail. As I said, the board’s been bluescreened away. But that’s probably the easiest part. I wonder how they filled in the backround. It’s very well done because you don’t see any traces of used masks or generated footage at all. I was wondering if anyone has a clue how the hole was filled which the cut out board made?

    Cheers!

    Steve

Search the COW (try advanced, archives) for “skateboard”.
