How to work quickly and efficiently
Hello everybody, first post, happy to join you ;).
I’m french (please excuse my bad english) and I’ve learned after effects self-taught and work on for living for 3 years now.
I would like to talk about the way of working in after effects, how to use templates, scripts and plugins.
How do you do ? How do you manage to be the most efficient ?I present you my way :
Firstly I use some scripts very useful :
– ft-toolbar : you can access to commands, expressions or scripts by clicking on buttons. https://aescripts.com/ft-toolbar/
– queue master : you can easily manage your renderings with a lot of options. https://aescripts.com/queuemaster/
– rd_scriptlauncher : you can see and easily launch all your scripts. https://www.redefinery.com/ae/view.php?item=rd_ScriptLauncher
– rd render_layer : select your layers and render them one by one. https://www.redefinery.com/ae/view.php?item=rd_RenderLayers
– BG renderer : render and keep working. https://aescripts.com/bg-renderer/About the templates, I have a project which contain many comp associated with group of effects or preset, so I can easily come to see how it works if I forget (which happens sometimes).
I have also a project which contain all my lower thirds, a project with all my impact animations, etc..

Make common commands a command when you set them to a letter. Also make note of the render sequence in/out.
