How to view only clips being used in the Project Panel?
I’m working on a project with hundreds of clips that have been imported.
So the Project Panel contains hundreds of clips.
I am currently using about 50-70 of them on the timeline.I would like view only the clips that are currently being used (meaning on a timeline) in “icon view” in the Project Panel.
Is there a way to do that? -

Create a new project. Keep it open simultaneously with the original project (more recent versions of Premiere can have multiple open projects).
Copy your working sequence into the new empty project.
All the clips used in the sequence will appear in the new project.
If you edit in clip from the original huge project, it will be added to the new project, as well. -

I wish there was a way to just filter the clips in the project panel, but your method works. Thanks again : ) -
in your project panel make a folder named “unused”. click on “edit” “remove unused” you will now only see all the used clips. Now hit “undo” and all the unused clips that were removed will appear again highlighted. drag those clips to the folder you created called “unused”.
i did a video about this a week ago or so. it works well for me.
