    Hi,

I have about 40 separate clips (mt2 extension) that are about 5-6 seconds…how can I import all these 40 clips into the trimmer only?
(I DON’T want to add them to the timeline)

    Thanks!

You can’t. The trimmer is a tool for trimming a single clip. When you’re done with that clip, you work on trimming the next. You can make subclips if you don’t want to add anything to the timeline until all 40 clips are trimmed.

Perhaps your asking the questions as MTS clips don’t display a thumbnail in explorer as AVI and other common file formats do. If so one way to work around this is to select all the clips, right click and add them to the project media list. To view the thumbnails goto project media.
