  • How to use Transitions between 2 different video (up/down)tracks?

Hello folks, can you please tell me how to use Transition effect between 2 different video tracks? I mean one ofcourse I can use in the same channel (track) but I dont know how to use in different channels.

I drop transition to end of track 1 & drop the same effect to track 2’s beginning. This is how I do it, but I wanna know is there any easy way to do this.

    Thank you very very much

The way you’re doing it is the only way to do it.

Didn’t an earlier version allow us to show the events on two tracks when using transitions? There used to be a button that switched from both events on the same track to two tracks right?

The A/B track layers can still be viewed in Movie Studio 10 (and I guess Pro 10, dunno about VMS or Pro 11). Just right-click a video track header, and select Expand Track Layers. Sequential events are shown on the A and B layers alternately, with the transitions marked between the 2 layer lanes.

It’s still not 2 separate tracks, but it might make transitions easier to manage.
