  • How to use 1080p and 1080i in the same sequence?

Posted by Mark Collins on October 1, 2010 at 3:14 pm

I am using Premiere CS5 to make a dvd.

I have footage in 1080p and 1080i, what would be the best way to mix the two (technically speaking).

What are the best sequence settings to use, and how should we export it?

As a rule of thumb working with progressive in an interlaced project is less problematic than interlaced in a progressive project.

What plans do you have with export? Web, blurry? DVD?

    Thanks for your help Jon,

I would like to make a SD DVD to reproduce, and also present it in HD as well.

    Thanks,
    Mark
