How to Update FCP from 5.0. to 5.1.1
This seems like a basic question but I couldn’t seem to find info on Apple’s site.
I have Final Cut Studio 5 and currently have 5.0.4 running. I’d like to upgrade to 5.1.
When I go to Apples site and login I can download 5.1.1,. But when I go to run the upgrade it says it can only be installed on a system that has 5.1.
Was the upgrade from 5 to 5.1 a free upgrade or do you have to purchase that?

It must be purchases through Apple’s site
small charge to cover sending out new DVDs… despite numbering.. its a major upgrade in that it requires discs to install.
