How to unsubscribe from email notifications
Help! How do I unsubscribe from new thread notifications? I followed the link on every message to unsubscribe, but it just leads to my profile page for which there is no option to unsubscribe. I only have the option to change settings for my newsletter subscription which I don’t want to do.

You do that on a thread by thread basis when you add a post. You can see the little check box at the top of entry window when you type in your question / response. Switch it to “None”.
Once that’s turned on for a thread though, I don’t know of a way to stop that from happening.

That’s just not good enough. You need to put an unsubscribe link in the emails, where you can completely unsubscribe from getting emails from your site.
I cannot find any such function anywhere on your site.
It should always be easy to do this. This is common sense.

If you’re talking about the Creative COW newsletter, there is an unsubscribe link at the very bottom of every newsletter we send. If the email you receive the COW newsletter at is the same as the email attached to this profile, I can unsubscribe you myself. You can let me know on this thread, or you can email admin@creativecow.net, whichever is easiest.
