    Hi!

I’ve had two 320 Gb disks as RAID 0 in my G5. These are getting too small and I want to unraid them to use tham as backup (on the shelf)

But disk utility does not want to destroy my raid….

Even if I disconnect one of the drives, Disk Utility tells me it will not destroy.

    Hmm…

Is this a hardware raid or software raid, if hardware you’ll need to undo the jumper config…

It was a system problem. I had to get rid of all the files and start the machine in safe (!) mode to be able to re-format the soft-raided disks.

    Done!

    THX!
