Since its so awful, why not just delete it and be done with it ? 😉

well….I teach at several schools that will want my feedback on whether we should upgrade and such, so I need to at least be able to speak about the software from my own perspective…plus I want to follow along and see how crazy this all gets in the coming weeks, months , years, etc…

Do I need to do anything other than trash the app from the “applications folder?

App store apps, including FCPX are self contained.
Of course if you’ve used software update all sorts of media and updated Quicktime codecs were installed but they shouldn’t create integral issues.

I use an app called “App Delete” when I want to be sure all hidden associated files are also deleted.

I just downloaded appcleaner and i’m wondering whether I can trust these programs to remove just the fcpx files and not my final cut studio 7 files too. I want to partition my drive after I get fcpx deleted to re-install it seperately, since this seems to be recommended.
