For the reason that I lose optical flow options with grouped clips and there is no way to match frame to an original clip (a real sore point for me about this program)so as to overwrite/connect it back over the multiclip.

I just ran into this issue myself when trying to export an XML to After Effects. It doesn’t seemlike there is a way yet. This would be akin t I had to manually recut all of them.

This gets listed in the “Cons” section in my FCPX book.

You have to add stabilizing and such inside the angle viewer. You can match frame from in the angle viewer too. The bummer being that you can’t enter the angle viewer and be parked on the frame you were on when you entered it. My workaround is to view the TC of the multiclip before entering the angle editor. f you have clip skimming on (cmd opt s) thats easy. Some stuff still needs a bit of polish for sure.
