  • How to tweak text?

Illustrator 10 — Am attempting to create an illustration which includes a perspective of a sign; want to tweak a line of text to match arched shape of the sign; any help? In other words, so that the text is larger at the closest visual point and decreasing in size as it moves to the right of the sign shape. Appreciated.

(Whoops — thought one could attach a .jpg here, but apparently not. Oh well.)

    Bunch of answers for this..

Object > Envelope Distort > Mesh.

    OR

    Create a 4-point square.
Adjust the points with the Direct Select tool to achieve the desired perspective.
    Layer above the text.
Select both and Object > Distort > Make with Top Object.

    OR

Apply 3D rotate to the live text, and it will remain live text.

    Just a few ideas..
