How to transfer upgraded Pro v14 to new computer
I have piggybacked two upgraded versions over time (Vegas Pro v14 through Pro v13) from an original full version Vegas Pro v10.
I wish to eventually transfer Vegas Pro v14 including bundled Mercalli to a new computer.
i.) How do I inform Magix for their go ahead, and ii.) Do I have to reinstall Pro v10 first on the new computer so reinstall upgrade Pro v14 and vital Mercalli succeeds? I know an upgrade to v15 loses Mercalli which has annoyed many, so I won’t fall for that one!Thanks and regards,

There’s no need to install an older version first.

It appears Magix is not quite so generous as former Sony as to the number of machines their software can be installed with the same registration: Magix = 2, Sony = any number.With your info, I can now consider a Threadripper upgrade. Will be interesting to eventually know whether Pro v14 can accommodate all cores and threads in rendering. Real world rendering likely will differ from the theoretical.
