    Hi there,
    i just can’t figure out how to give lets say a cube my a jpg as texture. how do you apply a picture to a 3d-object?

    Hi clintwood,

    You need to use the material editor to create a material and click on the large thumbnail to select the image you want to apply to the object. (You can apply it as a straight image, as a reflection map, as a bump map or as a transparency map. Then apply that material to your object. You’ll find lots of detail about this if you search the forum archive… or check out material editor in the manual. If you get stuck, let us know.
