  How to temporarily export and reimport a DJI Mavic 3 drone from Mumbai for a fil

  Hey everyone,

  I’m part of an Indian film crew, and we’re planning a shoot in Switzerland. We need to bring a DJI Mavic 3 drone from Mumbai to Zurich and return with it after the shoot.

  I want to make sure we handle all customs and legal formalities properly, so I’m looking for some guidance from anyone who has done something similar or knows the process.

  Here’s what I’m trying to figure out:

  • What are the customs/export procedures for taking a drone out of India temporarily?
  • Do we need to declare the drone when leaving?
  • Are there any permits, clearances, or approvals needed before departure?

  If anyone has experience traveling internationally with a drone, especially from India, your advice would be massively appreciated!
