how to take AE FX plugins back up prior to os reinstallation
Hello everybody….
I need to re-install my win 7 64 bit on an urgent basis. It will automatically require a re-installation of every program including After effects CS4 (i might switch over to CS5 too) that I use.
Now it has many effects and plug-ins installed over time which I haven’t listed…didn’t think of in advance. Many project/ compositions are with these plug-ins and effects which will surely ask for the respective FXs while opening.
I should be having all these FXs which I would need with the AE version installed after the OS.
Can anyone please tell me how do I create a back up before I go for OS re-installations?

Many plug-ins require installation using their own installers. I recommend just re-installing them, rather than trying to migrate them over from a backup.
