I’m a beginner in AE, after using timewarp, the movie cut off at the middle or time according to speed I’m using, what i wanted to do is to use timewarp and stretch movie to end at it’s final frame, how?Lisa Rifkind replied 6 years, 7 months ago 5 Members · 5 Replies -

May 25, 2011 at 1:22 pmYou will have to hoodwink AE into thinking that the original footage is longer than it actually is. To initiate the hoodwinking exercise, select the desired footage from within the Project Panel. Then venture into the Interpret Footage dialog and set the Loop property to a value that will sufficiently increase the duration of the footage.
Once that is done, you should be able to Timewarp the clip to suit your needs.

May 25, 2011 at 3:29 pm[Dave LaRonde] “You can also use Time Remapping to slow down the footage if you can’t loop it as Roland suggests.”
Also, since Timewarp is much better at slowing footage than Time Remapping, you can apply Timewarp to the footage and then apply Time Remapping without changing the keyframes. Once Time Remapping is applied you will be able to extend the duration of the layer.
