Could anyone tell me how to stop bridge opening automatically every time I download an image to my desktop?

Hi Dave,
If you have your Image viewer set to be bridge and also have your browser set to “always open files of this type” after download, then I guess bridge will open every time you download a new image.
You might want to check your browser download settings.
