OK, I feel really stupid for asking this. I know it’s basic knowledge, but I forgot, and can’t find anywhere in my notes, or AE keyboard shortcuts.

How do you split a comp using a shortcut? I’m talking about setting the timeline splitting the comp where you have the first half in one layer, and the second half in the next layer.

    Thanks in advance…

Thanks Joe… it’s times like this that I seriously need to consider jumping the window of a highrise LOL

    Thanks-a-billion =]

Control Shift D is also a nice quick keyboard shortcut to use to divide a layer at the point where your timeline marker is. I use it all the time.
