How to speed up my workflow in AFX.

Barring that,
RAM preview every other frame. (shift-RAM preview – check the options in the little flyout triangle in the time controls palette)
RAM preview at lower res and smaller magnification. It helps if they match.
Only RAM preview what you need to see right now.
Use proxies. Search the COW and Help for more info.
Get Nucleo or Nucleo Pro.
Get more RAM.
Hide layers you don’t need to see.
Switch off motion blur when you don’t need to see it.
Work in Draft 3D.Don’t ask about graphics cards. They won’t help much.
There are no accelerator cards for AE anymore. The old ones are 10 years out of date, out of production, and won’t fit anything on the market.
