How to specify documents size in centimeters?

InDesign – Preferences – Units & Increments.. you can set Centimeters there..kj

Have no document open and set your prefereneces > units & increments. All new documents will then use your new unti of measurement as the default.
Many people do this to get away from Picas and set their units to Inches in the USA.
