  How to smoothly edit mov files from I Phone in fcp 7?

  Hello. I have some footage they gave me from an i phone. Quick time movie 1280 X 720 h.264, aac. I want edit in fcp 7. I have mpeg streamclip. But to which file to i convert so i can smoothly edit in fcp 7 without any problems?
