How to show/extract R3D source in HDD
Hi to all Avid gurus! Can You help me?
i have a finished Timeline with DNxHD media transcoded from RED R3D files
Is there any solution to export this AVID project (with Attached R3D source) to Resolve in OTHER city for Color Grading?
For me solution can be to xport AAF and send it to Colorist in other city and give him R3D source files as well…but how can i find in Media Drive those R3D files which was used for editing only?

as well as the hard to find whitepaper:
Once you’ve created a selects EDL from your edit, you can move that to Redcine X Pro which can then either pull the entire shots to a defined location (drive) or just the events + handles to a defined location depending on how much storage you have. It’s basically an R3D consolidate process to use Avid terminology for media reduction.
