Is it practical to set up a dual boot for my G4 dual 500 running os 9.2.2? What I’ve got now works great and I want to keep it that way, but there are certain softwares I would like to run in OSX while still keeping all my os9 capability. I think it would be safer to boot OSX off a different harddrive, don’t you?

I used to set up systems with one partition for each, without problems, but Apple people I spoce with recomended keeping both system on the same partition.

What I did worked fine for me…
