how do you select all video clips along a single timeline when you have several timelines?

…meaning, i have 1hr30m video which one timeline has about 50+ video clips. i wan to be able to select the entire timeline and apply ‘video event fx’ changes such as ‘color correction’ that i can apply in one swoop to the timeline and NOT have to individually go into each small clip.

if i use crtl+A it selects ALL videos along all timelines.

    help me here 🙂

Right-click the first clip and choose Select events to end from the context menu.

Wouldn’t it be better to apply video fx to the track than to all events?

hmm.. and is there any way to select all the clips (on all tracks) to the right of the cursor with just one click? Sometimes you just need to move one part one the project to the right.

This is espacielly irritating when you have a really big project and you have to do it manually and aim with the rectangle select tool.

Click on the top-left event and then on the bottom-right event while holding the Shift key.
If you are looking for one-click solution, take a look at this tool
Other scripting plug-ins contain similar tools, too.

You could do this with a script tool like VASST Ultimate S Pro. It has extensive capabilities for selecting events the way you want.
