  • How to scale shape layers together – illustrator to AE

    Hi guys,

Hope you can help me, seems simple but I haven’t been able to find the tutorial I watched about two years ago that answered this question.

I’ve imported my illustrator file into AE and converted to shapes from vector.

Now I want to scale my layers in unision but they each have their own anchor points and are tearing apart:

How do I control the scale in unison again without having to pre-comp every time?

    Thanks!
    Deb

create a null layer, place it at your desired scale point origin, parent them all to this null and scale the null up.

God it really was that easy isn’t it. Feel a bit silly now. Thanks 🙂
