  • How to scale mask together with layer scale

So I’ve done something dumb. I’ve create a mask to animate handwriting of a text, however I made the text too small, which means that when I scale the comp up the quality turns bad. I need to scale the text up in it’s orignal comp, however when I do that the mask doesn’t properly scale up with the text and the handwrite effect turns ugly.

Is there an easy way to make the masks scale up together with the change of scale of the layer they belong to?

If you Precompose your text layer leaving all attributes in the main comp and check the Collapse Transformations switch, you can then resize the layer at will without loosing any quality in the font/text. The mask will obviously resize with the layer as well.

I tried this before, however when I click collapse all transitions the stroke effect seems to get thinner and creates holes in the drawing.

The other thing I noticed is that leave all atributes is greyed out.
